Is bonding and filling the same thing?

Dental bonding is basically the same process as a dental filling, using the same material is used to fill in, develop up or otherwise fix a natural tooth. While the term “filling” is generally used in repairing an area of decay, bonding is more frequently a cosmetic term. In the case of cosmetic bonding, it normally refers to bonding limited to the anterior teeth, that is the teeth that are visible when you smile.
