Do I have to remove impacted wisdom teeth?

All impacted wisdom teeth do not need to be removed. Teeth that erupt in an upright and functional position often don't need to be removed. If the impacted wisdom tooth is causing problems like grow at an awkward angle or if there is not enough room for them, then it will probably have to be removed. This, in turn, can cause symptoms like pain and discomfort and a higher risk of a gum or tooth infection.
